Inspired by Tatyana’s snow globe we decided to create our own cross-stitched Christmas ball. We sewed the ball from linen, decorated it with tiny buttons, and filled it with padding polyester. We also put a little bell inside – it jingles pleasantly when you shake the ball. :) The top is covered with a cap and a ribbon holder.
Originally there was no pattern for this ball. So we created Christmas Ball Pattern Generator. All you need is to specify the desired ball size in centimeters (we used 10) and the number of segments (we used 6). As a result you will get a segment picture to save and print. Please note that generated images have 96 dpi resolution and the dotted line on them is just a reminder of necessary allowance.
